Environmental Product of the Year Winner
Altman Technologies are delighted to announce that they have been voted as Winner of the Environmental Product of the Year in the Network Computing Awards.
The award was presented on 19 March by comedian Stephen Grant at a ceremony in London.
Mark Altman, CEO of Altman Technologies, said:
"We are delighted that Pcounter has won Environmental Product of the Year – previously winners of the Green Apple 2007 Award and Green Hero 2008 Award, we are delighted to make this a hat-trick! Making people consider how much they are printing has dramatic effects on printing usage – Pcounter eliminates waste and misuse of printed output as well as providing centralised management and reporting for all print and copy activity - fitting all types of environment from commercial organisations and multi-campus universities to single printer cost control within primary schools.”
Many commercial and professional service organisations use Pcounter as well as over 60% of further and higher education sites and several hundred schools. Costs, both financial and environmental, associated with running and managing both printers and photocopiers have long been a target for reduction. The Pcounter solution typically saves an organisation 50% and more on their print/copy consumables budget as well as contributing to a reduction in their carbon footprint.
