This webinar provides an overview on the PrinterOn solution which provides the ability for users (staff, students and guests) to connect and use printing services from their own laptops or mobiles, or existing college laptops/PCs without any drivers or software needing to be installed - thereby removing the usual security concerns.  The session will cover how the solution works from any connection with access to a browser, any client platform including Windows, MAC, Linux, Mobile/PDA etc and how all printers, regardless of drivers and languages can be supported. Integration with Pcounter will also be included in terms of the secure release methods available, payment of printing and support for guest users.

Email & Web Security Service

The Altman Technologies managed email service has been successfully taken up by over 1000 customers in the last four years, this includes providing protection and management of traffic to over 2 million email addresses across 45 LEAs and 80 FE/HE establishments.


The service works 'out of the box' to block 100% of viruses, produce spam detection rates of over 99% and an industry low false positive ratio of 1:300,000. With good educational discounts, no software, hardware and zero maintenance our solution has proven to be a cost effective option for managing unwanted email. The web event will also detail how our service can be differentiated beyond simply spam detection rates and other statistics by adding value in other areas such as resilience, immediacy, system controls (including specific requirements of FE/HE establishments), service and support.
