LoginPoint makes the creation of network accounts and password resets a self-service process. Users swipe their ID card at a LoginPoint "till" (pictured above) or present it at a staffed LoginPoint Windows based "Till". The system is integrated with the customer's user database - the user then has a network login account created and their new user name and password is printed on a receipt.

 

Additional functionality and benefits

Password reset: When a user has an account, they can also swipe their card to reset their password - a new password is generated and printed on a receipt for them to use. This removes the burden from help-desk staff.

Paperless registers: The swipe card can be used to register students for attendance and integrate the information automatically with your MIS systems.

PayStation option: the complementary PayStation till enables users to swipe their card and choose to purchase print and copy credit for their Pcounter network account.
