Pcounter provides options to restrict and/or re-direct print jobs based on the following criteria:

• Cost/quota

• Page count

• Copy count

• Colour/mono

• Job size (bytes/MB)

• Job type (e.g. Postscript, Text)

• Paper size (e.g. A3, letter)

• Plot size

• Document type (e.g. ".html")

• Printer "down"

Based on the above criteria, one of the options available is to re-direct the output to an alternative device. For example, if a print job is greater than a specified page count, the job can be re-directed to another device (it must be a similar print device compliant with the same print driver/language). This is an excellent feature for load-levelling printing for device optimisation and lowest cost output.
