SYNCHRONISATION / REPLICATION
Synchronise and replicate
directories over local and remote servers, add directories/files from
source not on destination, delete destination files not on source,
replace destination files with newer source files - TaskMaster blows
away the need for Novell’s Replication Services by providing
greater functionality with high flexibility.
DISK PURGING
NetWare performance can REALLY
suffer if the number of deleted files which have not been purged
climbs to a high level. Periodic purging is the only way to
avoid/correct the problem. TaskMaster can check the percentage of
volume space which is purgeable and then purge automatically.
TaskMaster can also scan a volume for .BAK and .TMP files which have
not been accessed within a specific period of time and then delete
them.
ANTI-VIRUS
SOFTWARE UPDATES
TaskMaster can check to see if
all users are off any server (local or remote), unload Anti-virus
NLMs, copy new software and files to target server and reload NLMs
when finished.
ADDING
INTELLIGENCE TO BACKUP PROCEDURES
TaskMaster can schedule
simple or complex backup procedures on single or multiple servers –
first checking to ensure that no users are connected, then scheduling
a backup and checking that it performed correctly before allowing the
next job step to execute. Files can be checked to see if they exist or
if they match certain date criteria before proceeding.
